EDUCATION
BIO
Lola Vialet is an independent artist, producer, and vocal instructor from the suburbs of Atlanta. A first-generation graduate of Berklee College of Music, where she studied theatre, songwriting, and voice. During her time at Berklee, Lola performed in tribute productions honoring artists like Missy Elliott and Celine Dion, earned a vocal scholarship, and traveled across the country studying under Grammy-winning and nominated artists and producers including DJ Jazzy Jeff (Will Smith, Jill Scott), Eric Roberson (Music Soulchild, Foreign Exchange), and Jean Baylor (Zhanè). Soon after graduation, she performed sold-out shows throughout Atlanta and opened for E. Roberson, continuing to grow as both an artist and creative collaborator. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Lola experienced a life-altering vocal injury that forced her to relearn how to speak and sing. Inspired by the kindness and support of a virtual vocal teacher during her recovery, Lola experienced transformation and healing through proper technique, as well as a deeper understanding of the emotional and psychological challenges musicians face while developing their voice and identity. This led to a discovered passion for teaching and mentorship. For over three years now, she has worked with youth, neurodivergent communities, young adults, and adult musicians through music and creative programs in schools, churches, and privately within the local Atlanta community. Lola’s teaching philosophy, Emotionally Intelligent Music Instruction (EIMI), blends technical training with emotional awareness, creativity, and music psychology. She believes students thrive most when they develop a healthy relationship with practice, self-expression, and personal growth. Her lessons are designed to help students strengthen both their technique and their confidence by exploring the emotional patterns, thought processes, and self-beliefs connected to musicianship. Through this approach, Lola helps musicians build a deeper trust in their unique voice, develop a healthier relationship with practice, connect more deeply with their creativity, and discover a lasting passion for their craft in a safe and encouraging environment.
