ATL Songs – A Monthly Songwriter Round at Buteco Grant Park starting January 2026
Hosted by Parker Smith of Guitar Shed
ATL Songs is a monthly songwriter showcase presented by Guitar Shed, Atlanta’s modern music school. Each month, Guitar Shed founder and songwriter Parker Smith hosts an evening that celebrates the depth and diversity of Atlanta’s songwriting community.
Doors open at 7:30 PM, and the night begins with an open mic (8:00–9:00 PM) where emerging artists and students can share original music in a supportive, listening-room environment. There are six open mic slots available each night, and participants can perform two songs lasting no more than eight minutes total. It’s $10 to reserve your spot in advance.
Afterward, Parker is joined by two featured local songwriters for an intimate “in-the-round” performance (9:30–11:00 PM) — trading songs, stories, and the inspiration behind their music.
Held at Buteco Grant Park, this series brings together musicians, students, and music lovers alike for a night of authentic artistry and connection. Buteco offers a full menu of delicious food and craft cocktails, so come early, grab a bite, and settle in for an evening of live music.
